Piazza di Trevi (Trevi Square)

The Piazza di Trevi is home to Rome's most famous fountain, the Fontana di Trevi, which dominates the small square and draws thousands of visitors to it each day. The piazza takes its name from the Latin word, Trivium, which means a meeting point of three roads, and Via della Muratte, Via del Lavatore, and Via Poli all lead to the little and somewhat hidden piazza.
